The Ford F-150 Raptor may be an over-the-top pickup that can claw its way through many things, but increasing demand doesn't seem to be one of them. Ford can't seem to keep up with the demand for it. According to Ford, sales of the Raptor have increased 14 percent this year and within the past ten months, eight of those months have seen record sales. The Ford Raptor also has the lowest time spent on a dealer lot with an average of 15 days.
This past week, Ford announced they would be increasing daily production of the Raptor from three trucks an hour to five trucks an hour. This should help Ford keep up with high demand for this unique truck.
“What’s helping drive Raptor sales is that Raptor delivers unmatched off-road performance to our customers. Raptor is also proof of our commitment to offer a truck for every customer and continuously improving them to meet our customers’ evolving needs,” said Doug Scott, Ford truck group marketing manager.
