Car Honored by Nation's Top Spanish-language Radio Show for Gearheads
Continuing what's becoming a tradition at the Miami International Auto Show, the 2015 Hyundai Genesis recently won the brand's third Ruedas ESPN award in the past two years, taking home the prize as Best Luxury Sedan. The same title was won in 2013 by the Hyundai Equus, which was joined last year on the podium by the Hyundai Santa Fe, the previous year's Best Large SUV.
Ruedas ESPN, broadcast on nearly 50 radio stations across the United States and also available on Sirius/XM satellite radio, is positioned as "the leading Spanish automotive radio show" in this country. And according to its director and host, Jaime Florez: “The all-new 2015 Hyundai Genesis is more luxurious and dynamic than ever before. Certainly, the Genesis is a smart buy for drivers looking for an outstanding car at an incredible value.”
Putting those comments in perspective, the 2015 Hyundai Genesis is priced from $38,000, yet showcases a vast array of standard premium features, including:
Additionally, the 2015 Hyundai Genesis offers upgrades like a 420-hp V8 engine, today's top driver-assistance systems, Lexicon 17-speaker audio, heated rear seating and ventilated front seats, a head-up display and, for the first time in one of the brand's car entries, all-wheel drive.
Added Mike O’Brien, vice president of Corporate and Product Planning for Hyundai Motor America: “It’s an honor to receive the award for Best Luxury Sedan for the second year in a row. This recognition from Ruedas ESPN is a further proof that our vehicles, including the all-new Genesis, have the ability to appeal to a wide variety of demographics in a very competitive market.”
