Pros: I love the power
Cons: the interior
Advice: its great you should have no worries my dad has the same one with just a little less miles and it runs like a top too.I have 70k on my 2003 and have no problums and never have. Its great to hunt in and go out 4x4ing.
Pros: 4 doors
Cons: breaks, engine power, front suspension, gas mileage.
Advice: full size gas mileage, small truck ride..it's for youI have the 4.7 HO engine w/5spd atuo lock up torque converter, 3.92 rear end (towing pkg). This truck stops long w/little feed back from the brakes. acceleration with the HO motor leave much to be desired. Gas mileage is like a full size truck. Rides like a small truck. Front suspension seems weak and bouncy. I can get 20.0mpg with the cruise control on a level surface at 55. 16mpg in and around. If you are not picky, need 4 doors and tow a boatyou could buy this...or just get the full size.
Pros: size of truck
Cons: no cruise control
Advice: a recomend buyhandles real well good acceleration and good turning radius.
Pros: The space inside the cabin.
Cons: Paying at the pump
Advice: Buy it and love it.This truck is awesome. It has raised the bar for any other manufacturer. You will fall in love the minute you test drive it and the wife will love the amount of room it has. There is so much storage space inside the cabin that You will find yourself looking for stuff to store in your truck. It is without question the most awesome vehicle I have ever been in.
Pros: leg room in front and back.
Cons: haven't found anything yet that I do not like.
Advice: Shop and compare, I looked and tested the Ford, Chevy/GMC, and Toyota and Loved the Dodge. This is the first Dodge I have ever owned and because of it will not be the last. All the professional reviews I have read before buying had 2 common complaints, it floated/drifted when driving and the acceleration was not very responceive. I am guessing that is the 3.7, because I have the 4.7 with a 6 speed and the handling is awsome, I feel more like I am driving a car not a truck and the acceleration is great. MPG apears to be 19.5 highway and 16.5 city which is extreemly acceptable, plus I plan on adding a stage 1 jet chip which will improve that.
Pros: The V-8 Sound of Power! Needed the HO.
Cons: The fake 'Shiny Wheels' that are only pressed on wheel covers.
Advice: Get the V-8, crusing on the freeway with cruise control I get 23 MPG, no kidding.Liked the sound of the 4.7 V-8 and would have purchased the HO version if it were available.Liked all the optional features and the 6 CD affinity stereo. Seats were a little different but we got use to them. The cup holders are up under the dash and only small cups are short enought to fit. The 'Bright Shiny Wheels' that we paid a lot of money for, turned out to be nothing more than wheel covers, they dent easy and are not solid, peck on them you will see that dodge pulled a good one on us. Overall, for a truck, the fit and finish was the best I have seen recently.
Pros: Roomy cab space.
Cons: Persistent engine light
Advice: You'll like the sporty look of the truck and well as it's ability to be a work horse. Buy it, you'll like it.I like the sturdy feel and the acceleration power of my truck. Easy to drive like it's a car.
