Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
I owned 2 Ford Expeditions, I test drove MANY suv's and could not decide between a Dodge Citadel and a BMW X-5. They both drove great, but the Citadel won hands down. This suv is great when the cruise is set,& will slow down if it senses a vehicle that is traveling at a slower speed, it has a flashing light that tells you if a car is in your blind spot, or if a car gets in your path (front sensor). It is also can copy up to 250 songs on your hard drive; the sound system is crisp. Hemi is Power
e.g. best vehicle ever.
Pros: I love the interior, satellite radio, and dvd system.
Cons: Some parts of the interior look just like the older models.
This car as good body and great suspension. fortunately I am very interested in its strong featured body.05 DURANGO LTD
Pros: AWD
Cons: gas milage
Have had no problems. Hemi engine gives it power, AWD will go anywhere. Rides better than many cars I have had.Great choice!
Pros: roomy
Cons: gas mileage
We love our Durango. Our only complaint is the gas mileage. It gets around 16.9 mpg and up to 18 mpg on the highway. It also requires high octane gas for the Hemi. It is very roomy, comfortable and quite stylish!I love my Dodge
Pros: The Body
Cons: nothing
Although I paid a little more than the Kelly Blue book value for my 2000 Dodge Durango, I love my vehicle. It drives like a dream for it to be 10yrs old I'm riding this SUV till the wheels literally fall off!Pros: Third row seating
Cons: Rear windo washer control
Advice: Have a look at the competition, then buy the Dodge.
Checked this vehicle against the competition... There really wasn't any. Hemi gives good performance. Fuel economy is about the same as for our Grand Cherokee Laredo that we traded with the 4.7. Around 15 in town and about 20 highway. Ride is much better than the Jeep. Quiet... Very little road noise. Not as agile as the Jeep, but it's a bigger vehicle. Fit and finish leave little to complain about. ZERO defects or problems.Pros: Hemi
Cons: Pop in the Driver Seat
Advice: Would be very happy with purchase.
60,000 on my Durango and still love it!
