2001 Dodge Dakota - Sport 4x2 Club Cab
So far, I absolutely love my Dakota. Although it is my very first vehicle that I've owned, I've driven other vehicles and I feel this one suits me best! Not a fan of Dodge vehicles but I am pretty satisfied with my pickup! Thanks for reading this and I can only hope everyone has such an experience with their vehicle, regardless of make and model.

hidden secrets!
Pros: THE LOOKS & IT'S NOW A GOOD SLEEPER
Cons: THE PRICE FOR WHAT I RESIVED
FRONT OF VEHICLE WAS TO LOW. TO DRIVE IT OFF THE RD. IN THE 4X4 MODE. FRONT SUSPENSION WAS VERY POOR DESIGHN.. INSIDE HAD NO COLOR OPTIONS. SKID PROTECTION WAS NOT NEEDED AS IT COULD NOT BE TAKEN OFF RD. AS DELIVERED FROM FACTORY HAD TO WAIT UNTILL AFTER MARKET SOCKS WERE MADE FOR IT ALONG WITH A LIFT SYSTEM THAT WOULD BRING THE FRONT END UP TP REAR END. WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE GEARS IF I WANTED TO DO ANY SERIOUS 4 WHEEL OFF ROADING. BY LIFTING FRONT END & STRONGER SHOCKS THE TRUCK ROAD MUCH SAFER. STOCK SHOCKS WERE TO LIGHT & NOT SAFE. THEY WOULD NOT WORK ON TN. BUMPY ROADS. WHILE DRIVING AT OR BELOW SPEED LIMIT THE TRUCK WOULD NOT HOLD THE ROAD. AFTER ALOT OF WORK, I NOW GET REAL HONEST GAS MILEAGE OF 20-26 MPG DEPENDING HOW I DRIVE IT & 400HP! I'M A 65 YR. OLD RETIRED DEPUTY SHERIFF & AKID AT HEART!- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? No

for what appears to be 2012 will be the last year for dakota, why? dakota IS the best all around for ride,comfort,4wheel in any terrain..it is a little lighter than most esp during high winds..but all around..i feel its the best,v-8 is more fuel efficient than v-6!!- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? good truck for the money
Pros: 2 position tailgate,allows for big loads
Cons: cheap plastic interior,parts break easily
put 37000 miles on it with very little problems,v8 has lots of power,biggest little truck you can buy,hauls anything I've tried with no problems,handles great,4x4 perfect for snow- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

Mid size truck, full size capability.
Pros: Perfect size for our needs.
Cons: No 4 wheel ABS, low mpg 16.2
The cabin can fit 3 adults in the rear seat, and 2 adults and 1 preteen in the front seat. My full size ATV fits in the bed, and I can tow our 18 ft runabout boat.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes
