Fab Five Convertible Cars at the LA Auto Show 2014

We recently attended the LA Auto Show, and Autobytel’s Editor-in-Chief Michelle Naranjo is eager to share her favorite new rides for a sunny day. First off is the MINI Superleggera Vision, a collaboration between MINI and the Italian coachbuilder Touring Superleggera. Right now, it's just in concept stage, but Michelle has high hopes for the potential of this stylish roadster. Next up is another concept, the Bentley Grand Convertible. According to Bentley, the unique Sequin Blue finish was designed to match a customer's dress. The 530-horsepower Bentley Grand Convertible isn't all sparkle, though. The BMW 228i and M235i give the brand's 2-Series lineup a little bit of fresh air. The styling's typical for BMW, but still exciting. And as much fun as the 2-Series convertible is to look at, behind the wheel is even better, with a 5.7-second sprint from 0 to 60. The Jaguar F-Type is an Autobytel favorite, and for good reason. The convertible version seen here features a new front end treatment and other exterior styling details, is available in all-wheel drive, and boasts 550 horsepower under the hood. And another European rounds out the Fab Five Convertibles of the 2014 LA Auto Show. The new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS captured Michelle's attention, and better yet, it backs up its aggressive stance with plenty of torque and horsepower.
