Pros: There is so much room. I am 5'11
Cons: Without the manual it is difficult to determine how to use the wireless headphones....that's the most of your problems with the Pacifica.
Advice: Test drive one today....you won't be disappointed.
My husband bought this car for me as a wedding gift and when he brought it home I was so amazed, I cried! I couldn't stop looking at it. The inside of the vehicle was immaculate. Everything was perfect from the rims, to the quality of the sound system to the way it felt driving on the highway. I love it! It is perfect for our family-elegant, classy, spacious and functional. I couldn't have asked for a better vehicle. My husband really hit the jackpot when he bought the Pacifica. The price is reasonable and it rides like a first class SUV/Minivan/Sedan all in one!Pros: Comfort
Cons: Lack of power
Advice: Determine what you want
Bought a 2005 Limited with all the options. Love the car, has every bell and whistle and is extremely comfortable. So far good in snow and rain. Gas mileage is less than expected; we're getting around 16. Only other thing we're unhappy with is the lack of power; trying to get over the mountains is much harder than our old V8 truck, but that also had gas mileage of 10 or less so guess this is to be expected. Otherwise, love the car totally. Great features, great comfort. People stop all the time and ask how I like it.Pros: Power adjustable pedals
Cons: Hard to see out the back when backing up
Advice: Drive it and you will be surprised at the comfort compared to others.
Nice smooth ride with very little road noise. Drives like a car.Pros: reclining seats...all four of them
Cons: we got the front wheel drive not awd
Advice: great investment for the future...carmakers will be jealous and will copy the pacifica
As soon as we sat in this car we felt like we were on our couch at home. love the shape inside and out. smooth ride. luxury period.Pros: Overall Comfort.
Cons: The Heat In The Vehicle Can Be Very Screwy At Times.
Advice: Not built for speed so if you are looking to turn it into a sports car, this vehicle isn't for you.
I enjoy it, thats all I can say. I went to the dealership with my arms folded ready for war, and I ended up leaving with the vehicle same day. Driving a Pacifica is like having a dirty little secret. I know those Lincoln Navigators, and Escalade owners are kicking themselves in the face right now watching my dvd from the back. I've been stopped by other drivers about 5 times since I had this vehicle. When they ask the price I give them an astronmically low price so they can find the nearest dealership. Everyone should own one. Even the Poor People like me.Pros: The Automatic lift gate and the location of the navigation screen
Cons: Power to get uphill
Advice: If you can do it go for all the bells and whistles!!!! Expet to get asked about it!!
I really liked the comfort and style of the vehicle. I wish it had more power on take off but once you get it going you seem to forget that you are going 80 mph before you know it and didn't even relize it. Awsome stoping ability and styling. It is more of a cruising car than a race car. Going up montains, in which there are many where I live, the car does seem to struggle but once you find that sweet spot on the accelorater, the one that shifts the car down so that you gain more speed, you find that it is eaiser. Also I think that the auto shift is very awsome, I sometimes forget that I have it because it feels like a cruising vehicle.Pros: The look of the car..... inside and out
Cons: UN reliability in the car and dealerships service
Advice: rent one before you buy
What can I say.... after researching this vehicle for months we are soarly disappointed. We love the concept, knew about the under powered 4 gear transmission, but never in our life thought it would take a dump on us. At 1k miles it started leaking oil all over the place, transmission problems, suspension problems, stalling issues, gas gusseling etc.... Service dealerships very unhelpful to help with the falling apart car. No one should be treated that way reagradless of cost of new vehicle.... none the less at a 37k+ car..... Should of known to look inside the door to see if this was the first car off the factory. We had a rental one for a week and it drove so much better than ours, nice quiet and fast!
