Although the Chrysler Group’s growing momentum means the automaker has been able to decrease incentives on a year-over-year basis— which is a good thing for the automaker—this month’s recently announced offers still provide some noteworthy deals, including a “No Charge HEMI” deal for Ram truck buyers—which is a good thing for consumers.
Making it easier than ever to add some V8 excitement to the award-winning RAM pickup family, the Ram Power Days initiative runs through September and allows qualified drivers to add a 5.7-liter HEMI engine to 2011 or 2012 Ram pickups—at no extra charge.
“Only on occasion does Chrysler Group offer this exceptional opportunity to purchase a new ram pickup truck equipped with the legendary HEMI V-8 engine at no extra cost,” said Reid Bigland, head of U.S. sales. “The 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine offers an amazing combination of power and fuel economy with 390 horsepower, 407 lb.-ft. of torque, and 20 mpg highway.”??
Alternatively, buyers can choose to receive $1,000 in “Engine Bonus Cash” to be used on trucks configured with the Ram’s other available powerplant choices: A 3.7-liter V6, 4.7-liter V8 or robust Cummins diesel. And that’s on top of a wide range of other available Ram offers for qualified customers in September:
• 2012 Ram pickup—3.9 percent financing for 60 months or $500 in Customer Cash
• 2011 RAM 1500—0 percent financing for 60 months or up to $3,250 in Customer Cash
• 2011 Ram Heavy-Duty—0 percent financing for 60 months or up to $2,500 in Customer Cash for diesel-equipped trucks
Buoyed by the powerful “Imported from Detroit” marketing campaign, the new Chrysler 200 has proven to be a strong contender in the mid-size segment, thanks to its sophisticated interior, impressive powertrain and meticulously engineered ride and handling. It’s a combination that lifted the 200’s sales by more than 141 percent in August as compared to the model it replaced, and Chrysler is looking to keep deliveries headed northward with a comprehensive sales initiative that will last through the end of September.
Remaining 2011 sedans are available to qualified consumers with financing as low 0 percent for 72 months or $2,000 in Customer Cash for all models except the LX. For those who prefer an open-air driving experience, the 2011 convertible offers 0 percent financing for 60 months to qualified consumers or $1,500 in Customer Cash.
And Chrysler is offering incentives on the 2012 model as well, with available financing rates as low as 1.9 percent for 60 months or $1,000 in Customer Cash.
The Dodge Boys are getting into the action, too, having unveiled customer-attracting incentives on four different models. The aggressively styled 2012 Dodge Avenger—which grew sales by 38 percent in August—showcases available 1.9 percent financing for 60 months or Customer Cash of $1,500.
Presenting two different initiatives for models from two different model years is the Dodge Journey. The sophisticated crossover is available to qualified customers with a 2.9 percent/60 month financing program or $1,000 in Customer Cash in its 2012 configuration and with 0 percent/60 month rate or $2,500 in Customer Cash on 2011 models.
Finally, the Dodge Challenger boasts a particularly notable deal. After winning its segment in both this year’s AutoPacific Ideal Vehicle Awards and the J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Study, the 2011 Challenger looks to enhance its customer-satisfying package by offering qualified buyers 1.9 percent financing for 60 months or $2,500 in Customer Cash.
Already packaged to deliver high levels of both value and capability, the 2012 Jeep Liberty is available to qualified consumers with financing rates as low as 1.9 percent for 60 months or $2,000 in Customer Cash. Consider that another of the Liberty’s upgrades for the new model year, coming in addition to:
• A lower MSRP on the range-topping Liberty Limited Jet model.
• More available content for Sport models, including the Chrysler Group’s innovative Uconnect Hands-free connectivity system with Voice Command, a universal garage door opener, a compass and exterior temperature thermometer in the gauge cluster, and an overhead console.
• Five new exterior colors (late availability)—Mineral Gray Metallic, Canyon Brown Pearl, Rescue Green Pearl, True Blue Pearl and Black Forest Green Pearl.
• The automaker’s Parksense Rear Park Assist also will be available on all Liberty trim levels later in the 2012 model year.
