just bought 02 with 244000 miles to soon to tell
Pros: Looks and drive
Cons: Quality
Advice: Make sure you buy an extended warranty
Have owned my 8 cylinder EXT-LT since new, now has 60k on it. All I can say is I am glad I got the extended 10 year warranty. Has needed tie rods, new front and rear ac motor, new rear speakers, new rear door locks, and it will be going in next week for new Struts. And I'm not including the basic wear and tear items new brakes all around and 4 new tires. But it does drive and look great and has plenty of room for 2 kids and groceries.Pros: ride
Cons: mpg
Advice: buy it you'll love it
I have the 2006 and it's is great. 13 miles around town and 21 hwy. Love it, handles great got it loaded with options one fine SUV.Pros: all the room
Cons: no little storage area's around driver area
Advice: dont test one unless you aim to buy one
so far so goodPros: EVERYTHING
Cons: Small DVD Screen
Advice: GET IT!!
I have the 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT LT 4x4 What can i say? I love this truck! The 5.3L V8 has great Pickup and lots of torque. The inside is roomie and very comfortable for all 6-7 passengers. The DVD screen was a little small for my kids (only 7') I would have liked to see a 10' or 12' screen. The bass is not too good, i would like to add a sub for more bassPros: The looks are simple awesome.
Cons: The truck rides like a Cadilac...little squishy...not at all like a truck.
Advice: The vehicle is big. The EXT model may pose parking problems to those that don't like tight spaces. The gas consumption I think is rated in the gallons/mile!! Just kidding! If gas is a concern, then don't buy this one.
I have been driving this vehicle for about a month now. I traded a 1997 Astro which was also a very good truck. I'm very impressed with how well the vehicle rides. Very, very quiet. No rattles, no hums, no leaks. Very smooth. I was very much taken back by the sweet looks. It's a hot vehicle and I am pleased with my decision to purchase. Chev never lets me down.Pros: The handling and the Bose stereo
Cons: The mechanical problems
Advice: Buyer beware!
I loved my trailblazer when I first got it. Unfortunately it spent five weeks in the shop until they could find out why it was over heating. The heads were warped at 7,500 miles. I have had it for a year and it has 15,000 miles on it. The power steering is going out at slow speeds and the dealer was going to replace the pump until GM says that since it didn't happen to them and that GM has never had that happen, they won't pay to replace it. Funny thing, though, I have read many reviews such as this that people do have problems with it. My 4wd went out (and Central Oregon loves the snow), one of the door panels is falling off, the paint is chipping, and it occasionally hesitates when accellerating. When it is running properly, it handles very well and I get an average of 20 miles a gallon. GM does not seem to want to stand by their product unless there is a compliment to accept. I am dissappointed at the fact I spent $37,000 on a vehicle that I now have to question reliability.
