just bought 02 with 244000 miles to soon to tell
Pros: comfort ride and great for driving on snow and ice
Cons: poor gas mileage
Advice: be sure dealer has good service department
Still has rattles in front end , had several missing body clips all replaced by dealer after complaint of noises.Pros: 3rd row seat
Cons: Uncomfortable front seats
Advice: Go for it!
Car drives and operates very well; the only drawback is uncomfortable front seats.Pros: Two sets of driver controls and memory seating.
Cons: Front seat comfort
Advice: Give careful consideration to gas mileage.
I have owned my Trailblazer for about4 months now and consider it a good buy. The mileage leaves something to be desired (16.3 overall) but the engine/drivetrain performs great. Have driven the vehicle in snow and on ice already and felt more comfortable and safe than in any other vehicle I have driven. The quality control at Chevrolet seems to be non-existent. There were numerous flaws in the paint upon delivery and the dealer had to strip and repaint five panels. The front seats need to be redesigned. They provide practically no lateral support and the seat cushions are like boards. I drive a Suburban at work and would give anything to be able to trade front seats.Pros: Rain sence wipers
Cons: none
Advice: This is one of the mid size suv with 270hp and good milage too
The engine is beautiful with lot of power like v8. It has lot of space for seven people which is not available in any other mid size SUV. Some nice features like rain sence wipers, curv view assist mirrors, driver info center and entertainment system etc. It drives like a car.Pros: 7 passenger seating
Cons: drivers seat too hard
Advice: good overall choice
bought a tb ext....went looking for a tahoe but once the kids saw the cd/dvd system....o well...it has proven to be a good vehicle on a long trip! only complaint the seats are way tooooo hard! guess that's what chevy means ' like a rock!' had a problem with the gas gauge sensor, ran out of gas showing 1/4 a tank full...onstar was a great service and have had good help from the dealerships...wish it had a v 8 in the mountains but around town it goes just fine....overall a good choicePros: The new vortex 4200 engine lots of horse power great gas milage
Cons: the interior seems to have too much plastic needs a little softer look
Advice: if you are looking for a S.U.V. that can pull a load and something to go get the groceries in then the GM S.U.V. 's is what you are looking for.
I drove 3 different S.U.V. I really liked the GMC Envoy it was a little nicer inside than the Chevorlet Trailbazer EXT. however, the trailblazer EXT. comes with the same standard options as the GMC Envoy regular length for the same price. With the Trailblazer EXT. You get a lot of extra storage room and the rear doors are a lot bigger which allows easy acces to the rear seat. The exceleration was a little slower with the EXT. than the regular length but still was acceptable. Over all there was no handeling diference between the Envoy and the Trailblazer but the Trailblazer EXT. is a better value.
