Pros: the size
Cons: gas mileageruns good, nice interior. has quite a few good years left. i think its worth between $4500 -$5500
Cons: Gas mileageVery good reliable vehicle. No major issues throughout ownership.
Advice: dont ever buy a brand new vehical wait till dec.I am pist now winters chevrolet charged me 45000 for this truck and i am ready to drop it off 30 day satisfaction garantee. I am not satisfied with the price and they didnt even detail it I am soo made
Cons: Legroom in second seat area.
Advice: Load it up with every option you can possibly check off.Have previously owned 1990 Suburban, 1995 Suburban, 1999 Tahoe, and now, 2007 Tahoe. Of these, took two to the 50K limit and one past 70K. And have made cross-country trips too many times in the 1995 and the 1999 models. Very pleased with the 2007, with its' many upgrades and toys not available until recently. Gas mileage touted by GM has never reached their advertised numbers but I still like my Tahoe a lot (as does my wife). Miss the second seat room and do not like the wind noise but aside from these two minor nuisances, the Tahoe is a great road trip vehicle. It looks good, rides well, has snappy performance, an attractive and improved interior, and I intend to keep this one until the wheels fall off. Had a BIG 2004 Nissan and after an $802 25K check at the dealer, went back to GM - where the 25K check on 2007 Tahoe ran about $75. Thanks GM and Chevrolet from a dedicated and highly satisfied GM vehicle owner.
Pros: Electric pedal adjust
Cons: whistling noise when driving.
Advice: Do your research and test drive everything before buying.I've had my Tahoe since December '07. I researched several different SUV's and I got more for the money with the Tahoe. It has all the luxuries of a GMC or Cadillac but at a better price. The performance is great with the 2 wheel drive; lots of power and good handling. Easy to get in and out of tight spots. Very comfortable to drive and user friendly for shorter than average height people. My one negative is a high pitch whistling sound while I'm driving, the noise seems to come and go at speratic moments while driving. NO mechanical problems otherwise. GREAT SUV.
Pros: Ride and comfort
Cons: Little cargo room with 3rd row seats in place.
Advice: Go for it, but bargain on about 16-18 MPGBought the Tahoe a couple years ago and I still love it. It has everything I want and looks great. I usually drive a Buick for business and this has the great ride and handling of a buick with the room and comfort that a large SUV should have. I frequently pull a boat and trailer behind me when going to my lake house and the Tahoe does not hesitate, even with a big boat behind it. It has plenty of power. I really like everything about it.
Pros: it looks like a luxury suv.
Cons: no fold/stow 3rd row seat.
Advice: do a lot of research.I did and I believe that I got exactly what I wanted at my price.excellent overall road visability, especially with the rear view camera and collision alert system.the comfort is exceptional with leather seats.the interior is very well appointed and is a definite cut above its predecesors.acceleration is excellent for the weight of this suv.there is minimal to no road noise.the gas mileage with ethanol is significantly less than with regular gas-the gas price with ethanol is also significantly less.I wish the 3rd seat would 'fold and stow'.
