    2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - LT 4x4 Extended Cab 6.5' Box

Pros: Mirrors. The LT comes with heated, blinkers, and auto in reverse, auto fold in with the touch of a button.

Cons: Gas mileage is rough. So far I am getting just over 15MPG.

Advice: Pay the extra couple thosand and get the LT. What a difference. Power everytjing heated leather, Bose spaekers, phone, mirror, too much to list.

This truck is like driving a giant pillow! I test drove an F150, Tundra, Titan, and Tacoma and not one was even close to as nice. I think the only truck on the market that looks better is the Titan. The Ford's are like driving with rocks for wheels and suck with a heavy load. The Toyota's look like Toys when stacked against the competition. All in all looks, performance, quality, and price I personally believe this is hands down the best truck on the market.

2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - AWD Extended Cab 6.5' Box

    Pros: the 20' rims

    Cons: gas milage

    Advice: buy it

by far the best riding truck I have ever driven. Plenty of power when you need and want it. Very nice options. comfortable, easy to use all options, very attractive. I higly recommend buying one, with the 6 litre and the 4:10 gear in the rear, there isn't to much you can't tow well with this truck. I give a ten out of ten all the way around.

    2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - LT 4x2 Extended Cab 6.5' Box

Pros: The power of the 5.3 V-8 engine

    Cons: no dislikes

    Advice: Buy it!

The truck is a dream to drive, handling very well in traffic, with positive steering control, and, with the 295 h.p. 5.3 v-8, it has plenty of take-off power, allowing passing with little or no concern about getting around the passed vehicle. The seats are very comfortable on a long trip, and everything is where it should be. The suspension is absolutely wonderful, giving a ride almost like a luxury car, the 16' tires hugging the road like they were glued to it. For a big truck, the 325 cubic inch engine is more than enough for the every-day commuter; idling smooth for extended periods, and giving good, positive power when you step in it! I was a Ford man for years, but this chevy truck has made a convert of me!

    2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - Work Truck 4x4 Regular Cab 6.5' Box

    Pros: The good ride

Cons: Towing apability could be atleast 10% better, more standard items would help.

Advice: I believe it is a best value for working class people

It handled much smother than the Ford F150 on accleration. The Extended cab gave more room for the kids! Plus Barlow Cheverolet gave me a great deal. I was very pleased!

    2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - Work Truck 4x4 Regular Cab 6.5' Box

    Pros: Smooth ride

Cons: 195 HP V6- would like a little more power.

Advice: Go with a 4.8L V8, 285HP- alot more power & almost the same fuel economy as the 4.3L V6.

Quiet, comfortable seating, good pick up and plenty of room.

2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - AWD Extended Cab 6.5' Box

Pros: I love the comfort and the way it handles for a pick up.

Cons: The mirrors on the sun visor are cheap, and the rear seats are not leather

Advice: Be sure to get the loaded version to enjoy all the features for the money, its worth it!!

The truck handles very well, and the acceleration of the truck is great. I was curious as to how well the all wheel drive would work, but I actually thought it was great in the snow.

    2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - LS 4x2 Regular Cab 6.5' Box

Pros: It is not as high as most full size trucks and I do like the styling

Cons: The far too many automatic 'features' that do not permit driver control, for example the automatic lighting system and the oil change warning which must be turned off by the dealer

Advice: Rent one for a month before you buy, if you can live with the gimmicks and gadgets, fine

An apparently well built vehicle. However it is rather large and ungainly to drive. Basically a gas guzzler with a lot of gimmicks and gizmos. Who needs running lights, an outside temperature, compass, air bag indicating mirror? At least there should be an option to disable the running lights. I found extra cap screws that someone had disposed of in the fuse box. Icing on the cake was for the battery to fail and leave the vehicle dead after I had driven it for six miles. GM towed it back to the dealer and replaced the battery at no cost and the dealer even sent someone to pick me up to retrieve the truck. Must now return the vehicle for service because it will not idle at less than 1000rpm. Would I recommend or buy again? No, this is not the truck for me!
