Pros: the comfort
Cons: remote/start/keyless entry has no range
Advice: The SS is no Family CarThe handling was very nice, The power was a surprise, I haven't felt that kind of get up and go in a big car in a long time
Pros: Displacement on Demand
Cons: Torque Management
Advice: If you like performance buy this vehicle as an SSGreat acceleration and performance. Good highway gas mileage, city could be better. Leather seats very nice and comfortable. Rear seating best in class. Out performs Mustang GT.
Pros: Quick responsiveness, styling
Cons: cup holders will not hold a can or to go cup snugly spill beverages into gear shifter. Blind Spots- Cannot see around seats.
Advice: dont be taken in by the perforamance, quality is very poor, interior is cheaply made. my car has 3k miles on it and has been into shop 2 times.I have had my Monte SS for 2 months now and I have had many problems. Power Steering Leak, Engine Tick, Clearcoat peeling off, molding around front window coming off/missing clip. A/C needs recharging, Key Fob not working, trunk button in car inop, SS emblem on Steering Wheel dented. Interior cheap, cup holders will not hold cups. cannot see cars in the blind spots at all.
Pros: Tony Stewart edition
Cons: gotta get use to the size since I use to drive a Mini Cooper S
Advice: n/aBought a Tony Stewart signautre series edition. Almost bought it last July when they had Employee pricing. Decided not to, glad I did, I got a brand new one for $25,000, last year they said employee price was $28,700. What a savings a year makes. Being a Stewart fan, every time I saw one on the road, I would go nuts. This was a MUST BUY for me. I knew it was a limited production, but I didn't find that there were only 1020 built until after I bought it. Love it, plan on keeping it for years to come!
Pros: the look of the body is the best. good lines and great curves
Cons: its a fwd......I needs to be a rwd
Advice: get the 3.8 ss anything less is a wasteI drove the ss and fell in love...its got good looks, nice power, and it got about 30mls to the galon. It did feel alittle heavy and stiff but all that you can change and tweak to your liking.I have the 3.8 ss but I am gunna upgrade to the supercharged 3.8ltr just cause I like to have all the power I can get and still get good gas milage
Pros: Looks and performance
Cons: keeping the black finish clean
Advice: If one of the 1020 cars that were made becomes available--jump at the opportunityI also bought a 2005 Tony Steward Monte Carlo SS. This is a great car and I have had several offers (more than I paid for it new). I plan on keeping this car as only 1020 were made. This car will require a radar detector or you will be paying speeding tickets all the time. Chevy hit a home run here. I have driven Pontiac GTPs but no more.
Pros: the horse power
Cons: the two doors
Advice: leather seats if you have kidsi believe that this car(chevy monte carlo ss )is the best car i have ever driven it is comfortable and relaxing, the only fault i have with the car is that it is a two door and you'd have to leave your comfort zone to adjust to it but, beside that it is great .
