Cons: location of the emergency brake pedal
Advice: The extra options are worth it!I fell in love with the Monte Carlo from the first time I drove it. It handles beautifully and is very comfortable. I commute 120 miles a day and am very glad I chose this car!
Cons: Seats are uncomfortable
Advice: Wait until 2004 when the SS gets 40 more horsepower.I love the lines but I wish I held out till 2004 when the SS gets an additional 40 horsepower. The car tends to torque its way down road as is the nature of the 3800 series II powerplant. The usual smooth shifting transmission can become confused as to what gear to be in under certain driving conditions. If your looking for a sports car this is not it. But if you are looking for a smooth, well performing 2 door car with clean lines and decent performance for under $25,000 this is it.
Pros: Styling and Performance
Cons: Exhaust Tips
Advice: Be prepared to fall in LOVEReally enjoyed the handling the car had. It moved swiftly, maneuvered great, almost drove itself.
Pros: Body Style
Cons: Seat Belts
Advice: Nothing in price and performance class compares. BUY!!I just traded in my 2000 Monte LS for the 2003 SS. The subtle improvements from the 2000 model year are just right. I love it!!! First car I've ever purchased more than once.
Pros: stereo system
Cons: the dash
Advice: make all features standardI think this is the most excellent car I have most ever owned in my life and I have went through some many vehicals, but it copuld use some new features!
