A little too civilized
Pros: Heads UP display & power
Cons: Voice command
The car is a spectacular performer and without a doubt the most bang for the buck you can have without restoring something. The interior is better than the C5 but still needs work, the seats bolsters break down, the transparent top spiderwebs, the gas mileage is awesome I get an average of 22.3 per gallon HiTest, Better than my wife's 2010 TL. The navigation is weak the voice command is useless, magnetic shocks,Chrome wheels (2k) option, skip that stuff, the autotrans paddles are fair at best, when you put the car in S (shift) rather than Sport like the BMW, Acura, etc the trans still has the same shift points unless you use the paddles. I have every option $57.K and suggest that most is a waste, magnetic shocks,2 tops, etc. I suggest the 2lt which gives you side airbags, skip the 3lt, you can install HUD DIY for 360, get a TomTom 5inch, comp grey wheels (360) you will have a great vette, Had a 6 spd 05 before with z51 think that is the best vette for the money. Until GM puts a more responsive autotrans you should go with the 6speed unless it takes you an hour to go 5 miles to work. This is my 8th, still have a C2 & C3 and I will get another C6 but with 6spd.Great American Sports Car
Pros: Looks
Cons: Interior tirm
This is my 4th corvette and it's my first c6. It is a great ride and a better overall value for it's price then any other american sports car on the market today.Terrific car.
Pros: 400 bhp
Cons: Seats take a little getting use to; but once you get'em where you want...memory locks them in.
Advice: Silver paint serves as good urban camoflage and invest in a good radar dector.
Super machine! A perfect blend of luxury and performance power. Undoubtedly the most technologically sophisticated vehicle I have ever driven or owned. Keyless entry, keyless start, driver cockpit memory, a litany of electronic performance enhancements, 400 bhp on-tap at beckoning's call, embedded on-star communications, and built-in GPS are just some of the impressive features of this fine sportcar. The machine metallic silver paint helps the car blend-in; it's not loud like yellow or orange as if to say, '...here I am, write me a ticket.' Corvette's forever...
