2003 Chevrolet Cavalier - LS Sedan

Pros: Comfortable seating and ride, OnStar, powerful, fuel-economical engine.

Cons: Short back seat leg room and no optional fog lights for LS versions or optional sunroof for sedans.

Advice: Excellent overall compact sedan that is worth the investment.

I just got a 2003 Cavalier LS sedan with a 4-speed automatic and traction assist. It has very comfortable seats. It has the rear spoiler deck, the optional stereo with both cassette and CD with XM Satellite Radio and OnStar. I love its 140-h.p 16-valve DOHC 2.2L 4 cylinder which has plenty of power while also providing great gas mileage. I found it gets 33 M.P.G. But it did not get that with just regular unleaded. Due to its high performance, I use premium octane. It gets what it is estimated to get using that and great power. The front bucket seats are very comfortable. It has traction assist and stabilizer bars. And it steers very nice. It has all the features and comfort I want. And the ride is superb. And with the optional spoiler deck, it adds that sporty sedan appearance. I highly recommend this over other competitors' compacts.

2003 Chevrolet Cavalier - LS Sport Sedan

    Pros: The power

    Cons: Heater/AC Controls

Advice: Check the trunk and drive on bumpy road

For a small car it has a very nice appearance. The truck of the vehicle is large but you will have trouble getting a large object into the truck with the size of the opening being small. The interior is fine considering it is a compact car. The heater and air conditioning controls are low which makes it a little more trouble to adjust the temp. When using the front drink holders the emergency brake is close the the driver's drink holder. The vehicle seems to have plenty of power, but there is a little road noise when the vehicle is driven. The suspension seems a little weak, allowing you to feel, each bump in the road. But, for the money, and in comparison of other vehicles, I feel we made a good choice.

2003 Chevrolet Cavalier - Base Sedan

Pros: The spacious trunk, and the theft deterrent feature.

    Cons: Not equipped with ashtrays

Advice: If you're looking for a safe and reliable car that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, then this one is a winner!

I liked the way it handled, but I didn't like the road noise. I thought that cd and tape player radio was standard, but obviously I was wrong, not to mention the lack of ashtrays because I smoke. I also think that the door locks stand out just a little too far on the doors. The front end bumper is a little too close to the ground which should make for trouble after a snow storm. I should also mention that if you have a steep driveway, this wouldn't be the car for you because of this feature. overall performance is great. I guess you can call me old fashioned.
