Pros: almost everything
Cons: no power seatsi love this car and when i need the power it's there. It is good on gas so it won,t break the bank.
Cons: RideThis is one of the most primitive vehicles ever created. I have no wonder why GM almost folded. This thing rides terrible and is full of squeaks and rattles. And I mean FULL. It's only saving grace is its reliability. Battery failure (after 6 1/2 yrs) is the only thing that's left us stranded after 7 years of ownership. Can't afford a new car.
Pros: The front end and headlights
Cons: The headlight mounting bracket, had some trouble after putting in new Xeon bulbs.
Advice: The 2004 is a great buy with a 4,000 instant rebate off the sticker price, but get an LS, it has power doors, windows, locks, tilt, cruise, and a kicking stereo system with 6 speakers and woofers. Also has anti-theft and alarm.I test drove a 2004 LS Coupe and loved it the very first time I drove it. Very tight and precise sterring and handeling and great power with the 2.2 Ecotec.
Pros: Z type appearance package
Cons: cost for options
Advice: just drive it!The Cavalier has very good response, and the braking is crisp. Easy to drive, the 5 speed standard transmission shifts well, the clutch is abit touchy.
Pros: I liked the 5 speed
Cons: the inside of the door is vey close to the side of my head
Advice: take advantage of the rebates and other insentives they have..I bought just the base model. up in Canada we call it the VL. 5 speed and no options, black with grey int. I found it very quiet on the hwy. there was hardly any wind noise at all, and the motor noise was very low. At a 120KMS it seemed like 60...
Pros: Lots of automatic features included as standard
Cons: Seat comfort a bit hard and low.
Advice: Great car with lots of standard features included and 1/3 off including the rebates. No complaints except the front seat is a bit uncomfortable for a larger person that is use to driving a van. Got this car for my daughter to learn to drive on and it is great for her. Gets great gas mileage, even with a learning driver. We get 28 mpg in city. Sharp car.
Pros: I love it all!!
Cons: Placement of window controls and climate control dials
Advice: DRIVE IT!! For the $$ you will find nothing better!! Push for a great deal and you will get it!I Love Cavaliers!! The 91 cavalier I traded in had 219,000 miles on it and still ran like a champ! The 2003 has a sharp look, great stereo sound, comfy seats, great gas mileage and more! Love the fact that my mid-life crisis urges have been satisfied cause it has the sport look yet holds the 2 kids quite well. :-)
