    2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 - 4x2

    Pros: towing package

Cons: treatment from gm & gwatney chevrolet

Advice: the back glass leaks water & exaust fumes

i drove this truck it rides and drives grate i bought it at 900 miles i went through the auto wash water came in the cab through the back glass i went to gwatney chevrolet they said they fix it after trying a couple of times i went throgh gm they said it was normal & if i get the carpet or seat wet because i wash it it is no longer coverd under waranty. when i get behind a car or big truck i can smell the exaust i ask the dealer about this they said its normal for the air conditioner fresh air inlet to be open when i use the a/c even in the recycle mode i dont like the idea that i have to drive a dirty truck and breath carbon dioxide .normal i dont think so .

    2002 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 - 4x2

Pros: I need a truck infrequently - the Avalanche is perfect!

Cons: See # 2 above - GM NEEDS TO REDESING THE BLOWER

    Advice: If comfort

Have Owned it one year. 1. More comfortable and a better overall ride than my previous vehicle, a 1999 Cadillac Deville. 2. There is only one serious flaw and it is consistant with most GM pickups and SUV's the fan housing for the HVAC needs to be moved further into the engine compartment and out of the way of the passenger. At worst GM could take some space from the glove box and give the people more space.
