The Mitsubishi MINICAB-MiEV is an all electric small 2 or 4 seat work van. The vehicle is available with either a 10.5 kWh battery that provides a range of approximately 62 miles or a 16.0 kWh battery that provides a range of around 93 miles. Charging times from a normal outlet are around 14 to 21 hours depending on battery capacity, while permanently installed chargers can reduce that time to 4.5 and 7 hours respectively. A quick charger can be used to provide an 80% charge in 15 to 35 minutes.

The electric motor that powers the MINICAB-MiEV only puts out around 40 HP, but the 145 ft-lbs of torque that the motor produces should get the van moving easily and quietly, even when fully loaded. Weighing in at around 2400 lbs the vehicle has a maximum payload of 770 lbs and is available in both standard and high roof models.
