The Audi Q5 Premium plus is a mid-sized sport utility vehicle, powered by a choice of three engines, all of which put the power to the ground through an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system. Gasoline options are a 220 HP 2.0l turbocharged 4-cylinder and a 272 HP supercharged 3.0l V6. A 240 HP turbocharged 3.0l diesel V6 is the final engine choice.

The Premium plus package is the mid-level trim line and comes nicely equipped, including leather seats, heated 8-way power front seats, driver's seat memory, three zone climate control, 10 speaker Audi concert radio, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Audi advanced key keyless remote entry and start, HomeLink garage door opener, and a panoramic sunroof. On the exterior of the vehicle the package includes xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, front and rear fog lights, heated windshield washer nozzles, and a power opening and closing tailgate.

Optional on the Q5 Premium plus is the Audi side assist blind spot monitoring system, Sport Interior package with sport front seats and three spoke multifunction steering wheel with shift paddles, a Bang & Olufsen Sound System, and rear passenger thorax side airbags. The Audi MMI Navigation plus package is available and includes navigation with voice control and parking system plus with rear view camera and front and rear sensors. To make the car a bit sportier the S line plus package adds brushed aluminum inlays, a three spoke steering wheel with shift paddles, Audi drive select, and upgrades the regular 19” wheels to 20” wheels with summer performance tires (a different set of 20” wheels is also available separately from the S line plus package).
