What Is The Audi A5 Premium Plus Package?

The Audi A5 is a 2-door luxury coupe, powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged direct injected 4 cylinder engine. The 220 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque are backed by Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system and either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.

The Premium plus package is the middle of the three available trim levels. Upgrades over the base Premium package include Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and rear fog lights, and auto dimming side mirrors and auto dimming rear view mirror with digital compass. You also get heated front seats and a driver seat memory, as well as Audi advanced key for keyless start, stop, and entry.

Optional on the Premium plus (and not available on the lower Premium trim) are the Audi side assist blind spot monitoring system and a Bang & Olufsen Sound System with 14 speakers and 505 watts. The Audi MMI Navigation plus package includes a DVD Player, HD Radio, voice control, Parking system plus with rear view camera, and navigation. For a more performance oriented ride you can add the Sport package which comes with Sport suspension calibration that lowers the car by 3/4”, twelve-way power sport front seats with lumbar adjustment, and Audi drive select to control the way the car drives. To add a sportier look, the S line Competition package comes with Gloss Black trim, Leather door armrests and pulls, S line embossed front seats, and Gloss Black exterior side mirror housings.

If you want Audi’s adaptive cruise control, dynamic steering, or a power rear sunshade, you’ll need to step up to the Premium trim level.
