Lexus Dynamic Radar Cruise Control system is an advanced cruise control system that can not only maintain a constant speed but also adjust the vehicle's speed according to surrounding traffic. The system uses the same millimeter-wave radar sensors as the Pre-Collision System (sometimes shortened to PCS) to detect other vehicles in your path. If your car gets too close to one in the same lane ahead when the system is activated it will automatically reduce the throttle or apply the brakes to slow the car and maintain a safe following distance. When the lane clears the vehicle will accelerate back up to the pre-set speed.
