Calling all Ruckus owners! This Friday, February 15, 2014, the island of Oahu will be overrun with the compact customizable scooters from Honda. Being the world's largest engine builder, it was only natural for the Japanese automaker to find a home for their 50cc four-stroke single cylinder piston pumper inside the frame of one of the hottest forms of personal transportation around today. Ever since Honda brought the Ruckus stateside back in 2003, the tiny scooters have offered a much more stylish alternative to the average scooter. The Ruckus features a bare bones, no-nonsense look thanks to its exposed tubular skeleton, which serves as the perfect mounting point for a host of upgrades. Custom options include everything from flashy handlebar grips to stylish carbon fiber body panels, fully functional coil over suspensions, and even the odd Mugen radiator cap.

Just like four-wheel Honda owners, Ruckus riders also enjoy gathering in large groups to show off their customized creations. For this very reason, the folks at Illest Hawaii and Cycle World have gotten together to put on their third annual RuckOut. RuckOut the Hawaii State is an all Ruckus rally and meet starting bright and early at 8:30 AM at Starbucks Coffee Ward at 949 Auahi St in Honolulu before hitting the halfway point at Fort Ruger on the way to the Illest Hawaii store, which will serve as the RuckOut’s final destination. The RuckOut will feature the obligatory custom Ruckus show as well as an assortment of contests and raffle prizes that are sure to amaze. For more information you can follow all the action on twitter with #RuckOutHawaii.
