As we get deeper into the New Year, the rebates and incentives on brand new cars and trucks continue to pile up.  This week's roundup begins with the 2013 Ford Flex full-size crossover, which can be had with zero percent financing plus $1,000 cash back or the option of a full $3,500 in factory cash back.  Next is the 2013 Kia Sportage compact crossover and its 0.0% financing plus $1,000 offer, or the availability of $1,500 in cash rebates, followed by the 2013 Chevrolet Impala which provides the choice between zero percent financing or $2,500 in cash back.  The 2013 Dodge Challenger mid-size coupe features 0.0% financing plus a $1,000 cash rebate (or the option of $2,000 total in cash back), while the 2013 Fiat 500 subcompact hatchback wraps up our list with its zero percent financing or $500 cash back offer.

January's deals aren't going anywhere, so make sure to check back with us next week as we keep you updated on the strongest rebates and incentives currently available on the new car and new truck market.

2013 Ford Flex

The 2013 Ford Flex is an unusually stylish choice amongst full-size crossovers, leveraging its rectangular shape to deliver wagon-like looks and expansive interior room.  The Ford Flex can seat up to seven passengers, and with the rear rows out of the picture it can also haul up to 83 cubic feet of cargo.

The 2013 Ford Flex starts out with a 3.5-liter V-6 under the hood that can be counted on to produce 285 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque.  An upgrade in the form of a twin-turbo, EcoBoost version of that same mill is available, and it is good for 355 horses and 350 lb-ft of twist.  All-wheel drive is standard with the EcoBoost model and optional with the base mill, and a six-speed automatic transmission is included with both versions of the crossover.  Fuel mileage for the front-wheel drive, naturally-aspirated V-6 is the most frugal, checking in at 18-mpg city and 25-mpg highway.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% plus $1,000 cash back or $3,500 total cash back on the 2013 Ford Flex available until 02/04/2013.

2013 Kia Sportage

The 2013 Kia Sportage delivers an inexpensive family option to compact SUV shoppers.  The Kia Sportage provides five passenger seating, 54.6 cubic feet of total space for stowing luggage, and the availability of the very well-equipped SX trim that crams in a number of high end features as well as a sport suspension system.

The 2013 Kia Sportage's entry-level engine is a 176 horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder unit.  Also capable of generating 168 lb-ft of torque, this motor's fuel economy is rated at 21-mpg in city driving and 30-mpg on the highway.  The Sportage SX comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that is good for 260 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, along with impressive fuel efficiency of 21-mpg city and 28-mpg highway.  All-wheel drive is optional with both motors, and a six-speed automatic transmission is included free of charge across the board.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% plus $1,000 cash back or $1,500 total cash back on the 2013 Kia Sportage available until 02/04/2013.

2013 Chevrolet Impala

The 2013 Chevrolet Impala is a traditional full-size American sedan that actually offers an available front bench seat that expands total passenger capacity to six.  The roomy Chevrolet Impala offer a generously-equipped base model, but there's not much in the way of high tech features to be had in higher trim levels.

The 2013 Chevrolet Impala is offered with a single engine option: a 3.6-liter V-6 that churns out 300 horses and 262 lb-ft of torque.  A six-speed automatic is charged with sending that output to the front wheels, and fuel mileage for the large sedan are listed at 18-mpg in stop and go driving and 30-mpg on the highway.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% or $2,500 cash back on the 2013 Chevrolet Impala available until 02/28/2013.

2013 Dodge Challenger

The 2013 Dodge Challenger represents the Pentastar's take on the retro muscle car concept.  The Dodge Challenger, based on the same platform as the brand's full-size Charger sedan, also offers substantial interior room that makes it a legitimately practical daily driver.

The 2013 Dodge Challenger's 3.6-liter V-6, which comes standard with the car, provides 305 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque and also delivers a fuel mileage rating of 18-mpg around town and 27-mpg on the highway.  The Challenger R/T steps up performance via a 376 horsepower, 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 that is also good for 410 lb-ft of torque.  Fuel economy for the beefier motor drops to 16-mpg city and 25-mpg on the highway.  The V-6 Challenger is available with a five-speed automatic transmission, but opting for the R/T introduces the choice of either a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% plus $1,000 cash back or $2,000 total cash back on the 2013 Dodge Challenger available until 02/04/2013.

2013 Fiat 500 - 0.0% or $500 - 02/04/2013

The 2013 Fiat 500 relies heavily on its eye-catching looks and inexpensive base price to lure in subcompact shoppers in the market for a city-friendly hatchback.  Although essentially a two-seater, the Fiat 500 does offer a pair of additional passenger positions in the rear of the vehicle, along with 30.2 cubic feet of total space with back seat folded forward.

Most versions of the 2013 Fiat 500 come with a 1.4-liter, four-cylinder motor that has been tuned to provide 101 horsepower and 98 lb-ft of torque.  Also available is a turbocharged version of this same mill that comes in two different flavors: the 500 Turbo's 135 horsepower version, and the Abarth's 160 horsepower edition.  Of the three, the base model's fuel mileage of 31-mpg city and 40-mpg highway carries the day.  Transmission options for the Fiat 500 include a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% or $500 cash back on the 2013 Fiat 500 available until 02/04/2013.
