February continues to feature abundant rebates and incentives on brand new cars and new trucks.  The 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid compact hatchback is the first entry on this week’s list, and it can be had with 1.9 percent financing or $750 in cash back.  Following the C-Max Hybrid are the 2013 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ full-size SUV and its offer of 3.9 percent financing or $1,500 in cash rebates, and the 2013 Dodge Journey mid-size crossover and its choice between zero percent purchase financing or $2,500 in factory rebates.  The 2013 Jeep Compass compact SUV is also featuring zero percent financing (or the availability of $1,500 in cash back), while the 2013 Hyundai Genesis full-size sedan wraps things up with a 1.9 percent financing plus $500 cash back offer.

We’ll be back next week with yet another look at the hottest rebates and incentives to be found across a wide variety of different automobiles in the United States.

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid

The 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid is a compact hatchback that provides good practicality (five passenger seating and an available 52.6 cubic feet of total cargo space) wrapped in an attractive package.  The Ford C-Max Hybrid’s exterior panache is matched by its well designed interior, which comes across as more upscale than its price point might suggest.

The 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid is motivated by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine that is assisted by an electric motor.  Total system output is listed at 188 horsepower, and a continuously-variable automatic transmission is standard with the hatchback.  Fuel mileage for the thrifty commuter checks in at 47-mpg in stop and go driving and 47-mpg on the highway.

There is an incentive of 1.9% financing or $750 in cash back on the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid available until 04/01/2013.

2013 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ

The 2013 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ is the top trim level of the up-to-nine passenger people mover.  This version of the full-size SUV features a host of premium features, and it can also haul an enormous 137 cubic feet of gear with the rear seats out of the picture or tow as much as 8,100 lbs of trailer weight.

The 2013 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ comes standard with a 5.3-liter V-8 engine that has been tuned to provide 320 horsepower and a respectable 335 lb-ft of torque.  A six-speed automatic is the only available gearbox for the sport-utility vehicle, and four-wheel drive can be ordered as an option.  Fuel mileage for the hefty Suburban comes in at 15-mpg around town and 21-mpg during highway cruising.

There is an incentive of 3.9% financing or $1,500 in cash back on the 2013 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ available until 02/28/2013.

2013 Dodge Journey

The 2013 Dodge Journey offers an alternative to minivans with its three-row, mid-size crossover shape and respectable handling and ride comfort.  The Dodge Journey can accommodate as many as seven passengers, and it can also be configured to stuff as much as 68 cubic feet of cargo under its tall roof.

The 2013 Dodge Journey is initially outfitted with a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine that is good for 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque.  Stepping up to the Journey’s available 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 introduces 283 horses and 260 lb-ft of torque.  A four-speed automatic and front-wheel are standard for the four-cylinder (which delivers the best fuel mileage performance at 19-mpg city and 26-mpg highway), but the V-6 is not far behind in terms of efficiency thanks in part to its six-speed automatic transmission.  The Pentastar-equipped Journey can also be outfitted with all-wheel drive.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $2,500 in cash back on the 2013 Dodge Journey available until 03/04/2013.

2013 Jeep Compass

The 2013 Jeep Compass presents compact SUV shoppers with the chance to sample a little of the brand’s rugged styling in an urban-friendly shape.  In addition to five passenger seating, drivers can count on the Jeep Compass’ 62/7 cubic feet of total cargo space, which is quite competitive for its class.

The 2013 Jeep Compass offers a pair of four-cylinder engine options to prospective buyers.  The entry-level 2.0-liter mill puts out 158 horsepower and 141 lb-ft of torque and provides fuel efficiency of 23-mpg in city driving and 30-mpg on the highway.  The larger 2.4-liter unit cranks out 172 horses and 165 lb-ft of torque while nearly matching the base motor in terms of mileage.  Each engine can be had with the choice of either a five-speed manual or a continuously-variable automatic transmission, but only the 2.4-liter makes one of two different four-wheel drive systems available as optional equipment.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $1,500 in cash back on the 2013 Jeep Compass available until 03/04/2013.

2013 Hyundai Genesis

The 2013 Hyundai Genesis is a premium full-size sedan that dares to ask luxury buyers if they are willing to trade the emblem on the front of their car for substantial savings without sacrificing its level of equipment or its performance.  The roomy Hyundai Genesis can even be ordered in the go-fast 5.0 R-Spec trim, which introduces a number of speed-enhancing additions to the automobile’s spec sheet.

The 2013 Hyundai Genesis comes with a 333 horsepower, 3.8-liter V-6 as its base motor.  Also capable of generating 291 lb-ft of torque, this engine is matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission and provides fuel economy of 18-mpg around town and 28-mpg during highway cruising.  Stepping up to the 5.0 R-Spec model installs a 5.0-liter V-8 under the hood, which is good for 429 horses and 376 lb-ft of torque.  An eight-speed auto remains the transmission of choice with the 5.0 R-Spec, and fuel mileage drops only somewhat compared to the less powerful version of the car.

There is an incentive of 1.9% financing plus $500 in cash back on the 2013 Hyundai Genesis available until 02/28/2013.
