The 2010 Buick Lucerne is a full-size sedan car that marries traditional American luxury with modern styling and more affordable pricing when compared to some of its competitors. The base Buick Lucerne provides equipment such as power windows and door locks, an MP3-capable stereo system, satellite radio and cloth seats. Moving up through the many different trim sub-levels found on the Lucerne adds items such as heated leather seats with power adjustment (and available perforated leather upholstery), an upgraded sound system and even 18-inch wheels and an adaptive suspension system. Options such as a sunroof, a navigation system and a front bench seat can also be specified for the Lucerne.
The 2010 Buick Lucerne can be equipped with both six and eight-cylinder powertrains. A 3.9-liter V-6 found in the entry-level Lucerne is good for 227 horsepower and 237 lb-ft of torque, and sees its fuel mileage rated at 17 miles per gallon around town and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. A more hefty 292 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque are on tap in the vehicle's available 4.6-liter V-8 engine, which drops fuel economy by two miles per gallon city and four miles per gallon on the highway. A four-speed automatic transmission is standard with each motor.
There is a financing incentive of 2.9% interest or $4,000 cash back on the 2010 Buick Lucerne effective until 01/03/2011. See more new car rebates and incentives for December.
