Cons: comfort of third row seats

    Advice: None

Side passenger doors didn't open and close smoothly. Sounded like they were in a bind.

2005 Buick Terraza - CXL FWD

Pros: Heated seats and DVD system

Cons: Lack of take off power and not much power going uphill

Advice: Step on the gas pedal with both feet before buying

The vehicle performed well until I purchased it. Major problem with the rotors, dealer cut them instead of replacing after 5,000 miles, then had problem with them again at 10,000 miles. They get burn spots. Also, problem with the sliding door latch not wanting to close all the way.

2005 Buick Terraza - CXL FWD

Pros: The first hour of owning a new vehicle

Cons: Not knowing what will need repairs next

Advice: Research before you buy, ask other Terraza owners first.

We have had the DVD replaced, A/C compressor relief valve replaced, warped rotors all the way around, sliding door locks stick and won't open (which can't be duplicated at the dealership), DVD still omits high pitched noises,(which can't be duplicated at the dealership), they have replaced the fuse for the rear power outlet, and now for the past nine days we have been waiting on the ABS pump motor and the generator voltage regulator to be repaired. GM Customer Service is no help they state that this is why we got the warranty with our new vehicle. We have been lied too by the dealership that the first time we were in for the AC that GM had dye in the system to help find leaks. However no leak check was performed so we ended up back at the dealership a week later to find out that the relief valve needed to be replaced. 3 days after purchasing the vehicle we complained about the DVD player and how unsatisfied I was and we were told to call GM. That it didn't matter how expensive the vehicle was that they would only do so much.

2006 Buick Terraza - CXL FWD

    Pros: Memory Power Seat

Cons: Lack of storage space for luggage

Advice: Get the optional 3.9 L engine! (better power and gas mileage)

The ride and handling are great! Very good power and engine performance with the opt. 3.9L engine. The only problem encountered in 5k miles was with a door latch adjustment. It is very quiet inside and out. Excellent sound system (sat radio & CD changer). All around gas mileage (City & Highway combined)is 20.2 MPG (Mostly mountain driving in TN)Very cold A/C, usually fan setting 1 or 2 is all that is needed. Best rear A/C we have ever had. Would like a lumbar support in the seats. It could also use more storage space for luggage. Our Terraza is a Braun Entervan conversion made for wheelchair users by the Braun corporation. (Lowered floor, automatic wheelchair ramp, removable front seats, hand controls, and electric wheelchair locking device)

2005 Buick Terraza - CXL FWD

Pros: Access to rear, comfort of ride.

Cons: Needs Headsup display, dash access/display needs work.

Advice: Look closely at driving, if a lot of repairs, get the extended warrantee.

Purchased the vehicle new, but had a problem with the dealer to obtain the style and color i wanted. The mini drives very well, does a good job on fuel mileage. There are some problems with slipping on take off (not AWD) which i think is the tires. I will have to replace the tires at 30K as they seem to be defective. I think better quality tires will fix. Have had to have rear bearings replaced. Dealer could not order the handicap seat, but other local GM dealer did and was a great job!

2005 Buick Terraza - CXL FWD

Pros: heated seats - steering wheel is comfortable to hold

Cons: the ride and how it handles

Advice: Sorry not sure what kind of advice I can give yet- still trying to resolve this issue!

Been in shop 4 or 5 times for front end vibration still not fixed. Rotors were turned under 400 miles and replaced later. Has had at least 5 SETS of new tires in under 6500 miles. Headlights dim when brakes applied. Horn is HARD to apply.
