At the duPont Registry OC Auto Show, Autobytel got some face time with one of the most exclusive cars in the world. Surrounded by about $10 million worth of rare and exotic cars, there were a few standouts. The original Bugatti Veyron is impressive enough, but the French supercar company actually made three examples of a special version called the Bugatti Veyron Mansory Vincero. Steve Chapman, the CEO of duPont Registry, guides Autobytel around one of these extremely sought-after Bugattis for this video, which happens to be the only example of this car that has been exported to the United States. It takes some effort to make any car this special, even a Bugatti. Mansory is a high end customization boutique, and its contribution to the Veyron is a lightweight shell made entirely out of carbon fiber, which significantly reduces the car’s weight and also makes it significantly more expensive. Carbon fiber’s unique properties give this Bugatti a distinctive, eye-catching appearance, which is set off by gold wheels, gold door handles, gold window trim, gold badging, and a gold fuel door cap, designed to contrast with the shimmery grays and blacks of the exterior material. At 1109 horsepower, the Bugatti Veyron Mansory Vincero definitely has the power to back up its attitude.
