BMW 1-Series Coupe and Cabriolet Bid Farewell After 2013

The BMW 1-Series Coupe and Convertible are making their final curtain call. After the end of this year, the 1-Series will be retired in North America. In it's place, we'll have the 2-Series Coupe and Convertible which will be revealed in due time. Why 2-Series? It's due to BMW's new naming nomenclature. Odd numbers such as 1, 3, 5, and 7 are designated for sedans and wagons. Even numbers such as 2, 4, and 6 are designated for coupes and convertibles.

We'll hopefully have an answer as to when the 2-Series will arrive in the U.S. at a later date.
