In a joint partnership with DC Entertainment and Super Street magazine, Kia has created the ultimate superhero-mobile: the Wonder Woman-inspired Kia Sportage. More than just an excuse to flex their creative muscle, the Wonder Woman Sportage is the seventh of eight vehicles designed around the Justice League intended to raise awareness for DC Entertainment's "We Can Be Heroes" Giving Campaign. "We Can Be Heroes," which last year raised almost $2 million, was founded to help fight hunger in the Horn of Africa and generate funds for charities currently fighting the crisis, including Save the Children, International Rescue Committee, and Mercy Corp.
“It’s exciting to join Kia in revealing the final car to represent a member of the Justice League, Wonder Woman, at the New York Auto Show,” stated Jim Lee, co-publisher of DC Entertainment. “This joint effort to raise awareness for the ‘We Can Be Heroes’ giving campaign continues to be a huge draw for fans across the country, and I’m sure New Yorkers will agree that the new Wonder Woman-inspired Sportage is a ‘must see’ feature at the show.”
