2014 SRT Viper TA at the 2013 New York Auto Show

So you’re interested in the SRT Viper, but you want something that is a bit more hardcore. Something you can take to a racetrack and break a record with.

Well SRT has heard you.

Last week SRT introduced a special edition the Viper called the 2014 Viper TA at the 2013 New York Auto Show. The Viper TA (short for Time Attack) gets a unique track suspension with a two-mode Bilstein Damptronic system. SRT says the Viper TA’s suspension offers firmer levels of damping than what is found in the Viper GTS. SRT also fitted a beefier set of Brembo brakes and a new carbon fiber X-brace. On the exterior, the Viper TA receives a new carbon fiber aero package with front splitters, rear spoiler, and a rear applique. There is also a set of ultra-lightweight, multi-spoke Sidewinder II wheels and decals taking the place of the badges. Autobytel’s Jeff Glucker fills you in on this very special Viper.
