There was no shortage of fast cars at the 2014 New York Auto Show, and our photographer, Megan Green, made sure to capture them all. What follows in our Fast Car Photo Gallery are the new debuts that are designed for speed, accompanied by a few notable favorites that deserve some extra attention from your eyeballs, like this detail shot of the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Alfa Romeo returns to the U.S. market with the new 4C sports car, which is equipped with a turbocharged, 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine making 237 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. Sounds like an Audi TT, doesn’t it? The difference here is that the mid-engined Alfa Romeo 4C’s structure is made of carbon fiber, and the automaker uses aluminum, sheet molded compound, and other weight-saving materials to ensure a 160-mph top speed and a 4.4-second run to 60 mph.

Are Aston Martin buyers price conscious? Apparently, as the new Vantage GT wears a window sticker reading $99,900. As if the extra Ben Franklin really matters. The 430-horsepower Vantage GT rockets to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds on its way to 190 mph, and don’t worry, this Alloro Green trim and other exterior graphics are optional.

2014 New York Auto Show Fast Cars Photo Gallery: BMW Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe

While it is true that Alpina doesn’t mess too much with an already good thing, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe upon which the B6 xDrive Gran Coupe is based doesn’t boast the latter car’s 198-mph top speed, one that Alpina claims is restricted, inferring that this car will go faster than that. It takes just 3.7 seconds to get this hefty Gran Coupe to 60 mph.
