Tuner Tom has owned a broad range of automobiles that pretty much run that gamut. His first car was a Ford Aerostar van which was regularly used for MUD Whomping Excursions and shuttling mass amounts of teenagers from point A to B. Next on the list was a 1970 Chevrolet El Camino mainly used for huge burnouts in the school parking lot. When Tuner Tom moved on to a Ford Ranger Pickup Truck he immediately became a popular guy with days spent hauling furniture and taking cans to the recycle yard. Then the Import Craze hit (before Fast and Furious!).The truck was sold in favor for a slammed Acura Integra GSR with big rims and a Chrome-Illusion Paint job. This car was a ticket magnet and Tuner Tom learned his lesson. Next up was a nice Honda Civic EK Hatchback built with some subtle tuner parts. Unfortunately the Civic was destroyed by an idiot drunk driver. Not being brand loyal, Tuner Tom jumped the Honda ship in favor of a Nissan Sentra with an SR20DE engine and 10 years later he still owns this car. With a family to tow around Tuner Tom also rocks a Mazda CX-7 which not only provides room for a small family but it also has TURBO Power.
Tuner Tom moonlights as an automotive writer. By day he is held up in a dark hole working at the GREATEST automotive research website in the world, but as soon as the sun goes down, the glasses go on and out comes the enigma. Tuner Tom loves all things automotive from Import Cars, to Luxury Vehicles, Exotics, and even Green Cars. Feel free to pick his brain or test his knowledge on cars!
