A native New Yorker, Aaron Gold started his auto writing career as an intern for the British magazine What Car?. Nowadays he tans his punim under the California sun and writes for a variety of publications, including Autobytel, Autoweb, Automobile, Auto Express, Consumer Reports, Edmunds.com, Motor Trend, and Diesel World Magazine. He is also North American Car and Truck of the Year juror. His vehicular tastes range towards the large and decrepit, including a cantankerous diesel-powered Suburban and an old Dodge Polara. When not playing with cars, he plays with model trains.
