Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
High maintenence. If you buy a high performance car, they generally require more maintenence. Quit whining about it! Now, once you get past that, nothing handles and rides like the A4 quattro.
Pros: Quattro all wheel drive
Cons: cup holders!!
Advice: Great car that needs to be serviced regularly to stay happy - love it but know it is a bit more demanding than a toyota. For me
This is the best looking wagon around, and the most fun. It is very safe and has decent performance with oustanding all wheel drive. This car needs to be serviced more frenquently than say, a toyota corolla but to me, it is a small price to pay to get a precision car.Pros: Looks, road grip.
Cons: Poor quality for a 33k car
Advice: Do not buy, buy japanese or american. European cars have a 'halo' of quality that is not real.
What a mistake. I was in love w/ the car at first, until i had problems with the engine only 2 weeks after I bough it! Then a head lamp went out 3 months after that, air bag sign came on, and now the storage bin compartment has problems closing. That is only in 10 months of ownership. DO NOT BUY THIS VEHICLE. Looks are deceiving. Poor quality everything rattles and shakes.Pros: Looks! It is a great looking car.
Cons: Quality!
Advice: Do not buy an Audi product no matter how good it looks!
This is the worst car we have ever owned! A dozen or more trips to the service department and have had to have the car towed twice. Very poor responce from the service department as well as from Audi as well. I will never ever own an Audi product again!Pros: memory seating (my wife is much smaller)
Cons: gas mileage is mediocre + use of premium is recommended by Audi = expensive
Advice: test drive on the highway
As you can see, we really like this car. We have driven it for 38,000 miles in a little over a year - starting off with a 12,000m trek across the USA, and back. Had only one problem during this 7 week trip - the radio had to be reset after a visit to the dealer. Why were we at the dealer's? For the easily scheduled and promptly done 10,000m (FREE) maintenance check. Since then we have had a power steering pump replaced, and the radio. All free and quick. We particularly enjoyed cruising at 75mph out west, and still having the easily accessible capacity to accelerate quickly to pass a lumering truck (or BMW!) - up a hill. We both think the car looks great and our only negative surprise was that our golf clubs would only fit lengthwise in the back. We do not give full marks for comfort because we believe comfort was sacrificed for the sporty feel (e.g. the cushions in the leather seats are not as soft as others)Pros: The performances of this car
Cons: The wheel
Advice: Buy it!!!
It is a great car. I think that anyone who ownes this car is one lucky man.Pros: The interior is amazing
Cons: Reliability of electric seats
Advice: Be warned about reliability of electrical items
The car feels very solid Some turbo lag, but once it kicks in, it's very nice
