Audi Announces Fuel Economy and Prices For The 2014 A6, A7, and Q5 TDI Models

Last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Audi introduced four new TDI models; the A6, A7, A8L, and Q5. The A8L TDI went on sale back in the Spring and the rest would be on sale at a later time. Well, Audi has announced that the A6, A7, and Q5 TDI will be arriving at dealers this summer.

“As drivers increasingly look for high fuel efficiency and low-emissions output, demand for diesel is on the rise. The introduction of the highly-efficient Audi A6, A7 and Q5 TDIs continue Audi’s commitment to clean diesel technology and further the brand’s focus on balanced performance solutions that improve efficiency and driving dynamics,” said Audi of America's President, Scott Keogh.

2014 Audi A6 and A7 TDI

First up is the 2014 Audi A6 and A7 TDI. Both models are packing a 3.0L turbodiesel V6 with 240 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with an eight-speed automatic and Audi's quattro AWD system. EPA rates the A6 and A7 TDI at 24 City/38 Highway/29 Combined.

Pricing for the 2014 Audi A6 TDI starts at $57,500 and 2014 A7 TDI starts at $66,900.

2014 Audi Q5 TDI

Next is the 2014 Audi Q5 TDI. It packs a 3.0L turbodiesel V6 with 240 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission and Audi's quattro AWD system gets the power down to the road. EPA rates the Q5 TDI at 24 City/31 Highway/27 Combined.
