The 2015 Mazda Mazda3 has won this year's ALG Residual Value Award in the Compact class, beating out entries like the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic in one of the most competitive segments in the industry.
Certainly helping matters, the 2015 Mazda Mazda3 has a long track record of value, with ALG editors noting that: "The Mazda3 brought a new level of style and sophistication to the Compact segment back in 2003, and the third generation continues that tradition. Not only does it ride and handle among the best in the segment, it also has some of the best fuel economy, thanks to Mazda's SKYACTIV technologies. Attractive pricing makes it the total package, giving it a category repeat."
Looking closer at some of the numbers, fuel economy for the 2015 Mazda Mazda3 is now up to 30 mpg city/41 mpg highway/34 mpg combined, while the MSRP of the car remains at $16,945—including standard features like filtered air conditioning, four-speaker audio with USB port, cloth-trimmed sport seats, remote keyless entry with push-button start, power windows and locks, and the proverbial much, much more.
And even moving up to the versatile 2015 Mazda Mazda3 five-door hatchback will only set folks back by $18,945.
Added Jim O'Sullivan, president and CEO for Mazda North American Operations: "We are honored that Mazda3 has been recognized by ALG for the second year in a row. It is a true testament of the quality, dependability, reliability and value of the Mazda3, which has only made this segment leader stronger and customers have spoken by making it the best-selling Mazda vehicle."
