Has issues
Pros: seat comfort
Cons: poor ride quality
A very comfortable car to drive. Excellent seats, perfect driving position, and peppy performance makes one smile. However, that smile will disappear when the road becomes less than smooth. The ride is simply too harsh over ruts and bumps, and to make matters worse, an annoying buzzing noise emanates from the upper console. Of course when I took it to the dealer, the noise disappeared. In spite of it's good points I will not buy another TSX because of it's harsh ride.Great Car
Pros: Great interior
Cons: Requires premium fuel
I have owned my TSX for about 2 years now and like the car very much. Good looks, good comfort, great gas mileage, and performance that is quite adequate for me. Interior is very nicely designed, dash is good looking and very functional, however, there is unacceptable glare from the central display that shows radio setting, etc. My gas mileage has been great usually averaging about 25-27 mpg in combined city/freeway driving. I have exceeded 34 mpg on an all freeway road trip to California. Only downside is that manufacturer recommends premium, which I usually put in, though I see no difference with mid-grade, which I will use from time to time. Dealer service has been excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend consideration of the TSX. Overall a very nice combination of reasonable size, good comfort, excellent economy, nice features, and reliable service. Not quite the sum of its parts
Pros: Exterior appearance
Cons: Navigation system
Sport/luxury but more sport. Noticeable engine growl with intrusive road noise from tires and under carraige. Luxury quotient is low, very responsive, sport suspension, reasonably quick. Interior space is confining. Nav system is difficult to view due to glare. Audio is above par. Each element of the TSX is good but the full sport/luxury experience falls short.
