    2004 Acura RL - (Alaska & Hawaii

    Pros: Navigation system

    Cons: Gas mileage

Advice: It's a great buy for the money

Good visibility. Quite ride. Much more comfortable than my Lexus ES 300 was. Holds the road well and less tire wear also.

    2005 Acura RL - (48-State

    Pros: Interior design

Cons: Door chimes that ring when you exit car with auto lights on

    Advice: Buy it!

I previously owned a 2003 Infiniti M45. This car has much more features standard (GPS, XM Radio, All wheel Drive, rear & side sunshades, etc.) Although the performance is not the same as an M45 the car drives like a dream and I made an incredible deal during the recent huricane. Paid under 40K for a car that listed for $49,700. The M45 would have cost about $9,000 more. You can't get a better car for the money. Decent fuel economy too.

    2005 Acura RL - (48-State

Pros: Solid comfort and ride with a great sound system.

Cons: No roof rack system or ski bag for skiers.

Advice: Not a sports car; but, a nice compromise for a luxury AWD.

Great finish and loaded with good technology at a very nice price point. Holds it's own against other AWD vehicles; although BMW 3/5 have stiffer suspensions in slalom/autocross maneuvers and are faster off the line. That being said, this car compares nicely off the track - which is where you will generally drive it! I previously owned an Audi A6/4.2/sport pkg. The Acura is a nice match, but lacks the acceleration sound - desirable when listening to the sound system, but lacking when using the paddle shifters. Redundant technology access takes some adjustment, but once mastered provides a nice safety-net when attention should be focused on the road. All-in-all, this may be the most reliable in it's category - other than the Lexus GS, which has less horsepower.

    2005 Acura RL - (48-State

    Pros: SH-AWD

Cons: Transmission sometimes seems to hunt for gear....minor annoyance

Advice: Drive it... decide for yourself..... dollar for dollar, this car beats em all.

Quality abounds...fit and finish, interior trim, no matter what option or feature you use, it performs not only they way it is supposed to, but effectively. Some folks say the would not consider it because of no V-8, but quite honestly the folks that buy this car aren't the ones who peel away at light trying to beat out the next car, the RL has more than adequate power and superb handling. I have had Jags, BMW, Mercedes and Infniti... this car easily competes with the E320 Mercedes, but with a much more modern, sporty approach.

    2005 Acura RL - (48-State

    Pros: SH all wheel drive

Cons: no fog light only light switch like my m3

Advice: Acura reliability with more standard features than any european model plus some technologies not even available on any other car, period.

Fit and finish is superb. The car's performance is slightly below par when compared to other high end performance sedans (BMW 540s, Mercedes 430s, 500s) but blows away comparable 6 cylinder engined cars in its class. If you have the guts to putting the engine to its V-tech rpms it can be pretty scary if your not ready for it. Hondas liked to be revved up. Although, this is a luxury car and you just can't find all the technology found in this car for twice the price.

    2005 Acura RL - (48-State

    Pros: Looks

    Cons: Nothing yet.

    Advice: Just enjoy the ride.

Everything I would ever want in a luxury car. Looks great, easy to use controls, XM Satelite Radio, GPS system, drives like a dream. This car comes loaded, nothing to add. I would recommend it to anyone.

    2005 Acura RL - (48-State

Pros: Navigation with real time traffic, keyless entry/start, Super Handling AWD, 300HP!!!

    Cons: stock 17' wheels

Advice: Drive it and make your own opinion

Acura hits the mark with this one!!! This car is stylish, packed with every conceivable feature available, reliable and priced under 50K. Hang on to your shirts Mercedes, Lexus and BMW!!!!! I sold my BMW M3 Convertible and Mercedes E55 so I could get this car. The Mercedes is junk, was my second, and I swear I will never buy another. The BMW was a good car just impractical for me.
