There are a lot of pretty good small crossovers on the market these days, and the Hyundai Kona has always been one of them. But now it's back with an all-new generation, and it's trying to make the leap from pretty good to great. The problem is there's a lot of competition. Rivals range from the Volkswagen Taos and Mazda CX-30 on the high end, to the Chevrolet Trax on the affordable end. Even the Kona's own cousin, the Kia Seltos, is in the mix.
