As consumers continue to migrate away from the cheap and cheerful compact cars we all grew up with and instead focus on small and midsize SUVs, Volkswagen has made an interesting move by not bringing their 8th generation Golf hatchback to the U.S. Brand fans and enthusiasts need not worry, because the high performance GTI and Golf R will still be available. However to fill in the Golf-sized hole in the VW model lineup, they instead have decided to debut this, the all-new 2022 Taos.
