The Chrysler 300 SRT8 represents the apex of the domestic premium brand's performance sedan program.  The Chrysler 300 SRT8 is a full-size, four-door sedan that combines copious amounts of interior room with major road presence and appreciable acceleration and handling capabilities for a big car.  The 300 SRT8 also features electronic traction control and stability control, side airbags and forward airbags for those riding in the front two positions, side curtain airbags, active head restraints, and a knee airbag for the driver.

The Chrysler 300 SRT8 is outfitted exclusively with a 6.4-liter, eight-cylinder Hemi engine.  This unit is capable of grinding out 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of twist, giving it the ability to reach 60-mph from a standing start in well under five seconds.  A five-speed automatic is standard with the SRT8, and fuel economy is rated at 14-mpg in stop and go driving and 23-mpg on the highway.

The Chrysler 300 SRT8 (MSRP $47,670) is loaded with luxury gear, including a rearview camera, a navigation system, heated and ventilated leather sport seats, HID headlights, and parking assistance.  Track-ready features are listed as Brembo brakes, 20-inch rims wrapped in sticky rubber, an adjustable suspension system, and aggressive exterior styling.  Options packages that can be added to the 300 SRT8 include the SafetyTec package, which adds adaptive cruise control with forward collision warning, a blind spot monitoring system, and power folding mirrors.

A list of cars similar to the SRT8 include the 2013 Ford Taurus SHO, 2012 Infiniti M56 and 2013 Cadillac CTS-V.
