In love with my car!!! I drove a BMW 328i and a Mercedes C300 before driving the Volvo. Totally happy with my purchase and am now a "Volvophile"!
Volvo has created yet another iconic body style with the 2001 s60. Its a Volvo. They make cars built to last a generation. I still have my 1993 240 in the garage.
Pros: soooo nice to drive. smooth ride. i can count on performance in any weather
Cons: cost of service- alloy wheels can't handle the wear of my everyday drive and are expensive to replacegreat looking and performing car. ride is very comfortable. excellent in the worst weather-both rain and major snow. not enough room in the back seat. a few blind spots. a bit costly to maintain. great stereo system/sound
Safety and sleek
Pros: Looks very stealth-like.
Cons: Nothing to share.Love my car. Handles well.
Ok for a wife, not a husband
Pros: Pick-up speed.
Cons: Poor visibility, extremely poor gas mileageFrom a retail perspective not as good as other options. Only would consider a Volvo in the future if deeply discounted.
Pros: The solid ride.
Cons: It is difficult to point out something about the car that I don't like. Oh! wait, there is one thing I wish was different - the nice rims get dirty very quickly from brake pad dust.A solid sturdy, elegant, but yet aggressive car. Love everything about it. I may have considered a T5 for the extra power but I try not to exceed the speed limit and stay with the traffic stream. The 2.5T is adequately powered for all possible maneuvers.
Cons: there's nothing i don't like about the Volvo
Advice: Like they say, a Volvo for life, as I find this to be trueI've test drove the Volvo S60 AWD and find it to be a car that I would want, as to the point that I would not like to be in any other car
