2013 Volkswagen Passat - 2.0L TDI SEL Premium (DSG)

I have only 4500 miles on it and already getting 50+ mpg! I have averaged 46.6 on 4300 miles with the DSG and that is better than my 2011 Jetta TDI 6 speed manual. I have gotten up to 54 mpg on the Interstate with my 2011 Jetta. But this Passat 2013 with the DSG is doing even better than that, and it is not even broken in yet. The ride is great, I would have preferred the 17 inch wheels instead of the 18. The backup camera is great! The 510 radio/GPS is a little more complicated than the 310.

Reliable (so far); quite ride; comfortable; radio signal a bit weak; do like it a lot.

2003 Volkswagen Passat - GLX (A5) FWD Sedan

Very nice ride and comfortable interior, getting outdated but very happy with car. The GLX has just about all you need in comfort and some luxury. Will hate to say goodbye to it.

Very good vehicle over-all

Pros: Quiet ride

Cons: No I-Pod included

Second volkswagen and appears to be 'solid.' Handles and dries quiet and smoth.

great car

Pros: precise steering, comfortalble driving, good braking

Cons: costly repairs, tie rod,replacing lights,plastic cover on headlights clouded up

lots of recalls. costly repairs that I never had on past cars I owned with much more mileage on them and much older

I found my car

Pros: electric parking brake

Cons: nothing

For the past 20 years I have wanted a smaller wagon that gave good mileage and had hauling capaabilities. Saw a passat wagon(2007)and liked it enough to trade in my Accord.The car has exceeded my hopes,solid, handles perfectly and great overall comfort.

Perfect Sedan both local and highway

Before purchasing the Passat we researched and test drove 6 Sedans narrowing choice to TSX, Passat and Sonata. Price and price for quality, Leather (or Leatherette), sun roof, safety, and BlueTooth critical. Dollar for dollar Passat wins, A Turbo 4 performs very well, MPH averaging almost 28!, slight hesitation on take off at times, other cars did not drive as percise or as in the TSX back seat too small....other features than those listed were just extras. The final sale point was 0.0% financing. We are doing the same for a small/med size SUV in the fall.
