Let’s charitably call it an embarrassment of riches: With the announcement of the new 2013 VW Passat Wolfsburg Edition, customers trying to pick out one of Volkswagen’s midsize sedans will see 15 different variants listed on the automaker’s retail website, with MSRPs that range from $20,845 for the starter model to $33,525 for the 2013 VW Passat V6 SEL Premium

As for the latest, it will leverage the brand’s long history of Wolfsburg Editions—named for the city in Germany that is home for Volkswagen AG—to deliver a high-value package that starts at $23,495 and features standard equipment like:

  • All content from the automatically transmissioned Passat S, including Bluetooth technology, steering-wheel-mounted audio and phone controls, automatic headlights, power-adjustable exterior mirrors, and lumbar support for the driver
  • 16-inch alloy wheels
  • Perforated V-Tex leatherette seating
  • A power-adjustable driver’s seat
  • Heated front seats
  • Satellite radio
  • VW’s Media Device-Interface with dedicated iPod cable

Drivers can look for the 2013 VW Passat Wolfsburg Edition to reach U.S. dealerships before the end of spring.
