Pros: The transmission
Cons: the rear seats.
Advice: if you want a good 'europeean' car for a small price, this is the one.I bought the manual version, I like to keep the control of my car at all times... so the engine responds promptly and takeing in consideration that is a 2.0 4 cilinder with only 115hp it is a very well obtained machine. I have concluded that the peak of its revolutions is near to 4.000 rpm, altough you can go far there is no purpose on doing it. Overall is a great engine and the body rides very quiet, where the 8 speakers perform very good.
Cons: I'll let you know when I come up with something
Advice: Drive it.... It could only exceed your expectations!I would have never expected this type of performance out of a 100 hp diesel engine. This car is tight in the corners, quick to accelerate, great for passing. Great car...
Pros: TDI. :) Power & Acceleration & 48MPG
Cons: The Backseat. Useable
Advice: play a while before deciding. this guy won't be for everyone. But overall a great valueDrove Gas and Diesel versions. Decided on the 1.9TDI. The 04 is substantially nicer, and quieter. I like the Chrome accents too. It makes the car look a lot dressier. Acceleration was very comparable to my Buick Ultra.
Pros: The engine
Cons: Rear seating which is tight
Advice: Consider adding the sport suspension and ELS packages. They make a diffeenceThis auto was equipped with automatic steptronic transmission, sports suspension, 17' wheels and ELS stabilization. The ride is quite tight and the sport suspension makes a considerable difference. Cornering is crisp and the car 'sticks' to the curves. The car itself has great acceleration due to the turbo feature. Overall, the car performs more like a BMW.
