Pros: value retention
Cons: fuel economy
Advice: toyota has never had a recallThe Tundra had more pep than Ford or Chevy(this with Toyota having less horsepower).Tundra SR5 Access Cab 4x4 had better handling than comparable Chevys or Fords. The Tundra cost less than equally equiped Chevys and Fords.
Pros: Fuel mileage & comfort
Cons: Bad vibration & numerous rattles in doors & windows
Advice: Test drive a mustMine equipped w/diesel. Has bad vibration on initial take off. FMC says this is normal. If this is normal they should make people aware of this before selling.
Pros: TRD package
Cons: price price price
Advice: if you want a true off road truck this is iti have a 4x4 xcab 4banger toy with the TRD package with the locking dif. Let me tell you that this 4banger truck goes places most Z71's and other full size trucks could only dream. It's so refined and smooth yet it can play in the rough stuff too. It's truely a swiss army knife. It's priced high but i belive you get what you pay for as I owned a GMC and it was a hunk of junk.
Pros: Four doors
Cons: There is nothing I like least about this truck
Advice: Get the best of both worldsThis is the right truck for those who are looking to move up, more room, great ride, loaded with tricks and from what I see when on the road...great looking. this is the Sport package with 20' wheels and the H26 option package. Including leather seating with heaters, full Infinity stereo with six speakers. (sounds great ) .
Pros: the 4 full opening doors
Cons: gas mileage
Advice: want a really nice powerful truck?(go for it) like gas milage(keep looking)The drive is much better than the previous models and the turning radius and the stiffness of the frame have been improved alot.
Pros: Flexibility - it is a truck , it is an SUV, it drives on the highway like a Suburban
Advice: Just be interested in a big vehicle - same size as a SuburbanI bought one. GM is kicking Ford's b----. If you are serious about off roading, camping and driving in snow - this is the truck for you.
Pros: Automatic Headlamps
Cons: no power seats
Advice: consider the size in tight parking lots.Plenty of power, smooth quiet ride. Supportive seats. Great steering and breaking response.
