    2007 Toyota Yaris - Base (M5) Sedan

Pros: Small on the outside, very roomy inside. Stereo and CD Player. Looks and zippy performance.

Cons: Tilt steering wheel should have more then 2 settings.

Advice: If you've ever driven a Camry, you'll absolutely love this car.

This car drives just like a smaller version of a Camry. We still have out 1992 Camry LE which drives just like it came off the assembly line. The Yaris engine provides plenty of zip and, with its 15' wheels, it hugs the road around the curves. We didn't realize we were driving 80mph. At 60mph, you have to look to see that you are going at that speed. Very comfortable, great gas mileage and just plain beautiful. I have the 4dr sedan in Nautical Blue, fully loaded with auto and power package. Since the S Sedan was not available in our area, the dealer installed fog lamps. We also installed mud flaps which look fantastic. We love this car. The trunk is very large and spacious. Just plain GREAT.

    2007 Toyota Yaris - Base (M5) Sedan

    Pros: The greatly-improved gas milage

Cons: Cross winds blow the car around easily

Advice: If you have specifics (color, package, etc.) expect a wait, there aren't many of these out yet.

I bought my Yaris about two months ago, after test driving one, I was in love!! It is a great car for the money, and you can't beat this gas-sipper! I drive about 80 miles round trip per day, I fill up on average once a week, and it costs about $30. I am saving so much! The car is great, the only thing I really don't like is that once you get over 60 mph, it starts to roam on the freeway a little, you have to keep a firm grip on the steering wheel, probably because it is so light, the wind really moves it around. The center mounted speedometer and tachometer threw me off at first, but it is really easy to get used to, and now I actually prefer it. If you get this car, I recommend getting the power package (ABS, pwr. windows, pwr. locks). I have put almost 3000 miles on the car, and I can honestly say that out of the other three cars I have owned, this one is my favorite! You cannot beat what you are getting for the price!

    2007 Toyota Yaris - S (M5) Sedan

Pros: seating comfort for the driver.

Cons: Power adjustable side mirrors. I can't reach over to the passenger's side.

Advice: If you don't want a lot of extras then this is an alright car.

When I drove this vehicle I thought the seating was very comfortable for me being only 5 feet tall. I thought the ride was too bumpy for me and even felt jolting in my back while driving this. Overall it is an excellent car and handled well, not a lot of pick up speed but then it isn't made for that. If I was going to buy another car, I might reconsider this despite the rough ride, only because of Toyota's reputation.

    2007 Toyota Yaris - Base (M5) Sedan

Pros: Gas mileage and cute looks

Cons: At first, the mileage wasn't as good as expected but now it's great.

    Advice: Buy one.

I am loving my Yaris. After the first two full tank refills, the gas mileage is finally kicking in, and it's excellent. The car turns heads, and the back seats are very spacious and comfortable according to the many passengers I've had in them. It's the best thing going for the price. I shopped around, considered the Honda Fit, but the price difference was incredible. Excellent city car.

    2007 Toyota Yaris - (M5) Hatchback

Pros: Toyota's reputation for build quality and the solid feel and styling of this car.

    Cons: No cruise control.

Advice: When you test drive one, you'll want one.

I went to help my son find a car and ended up buying for me. I had not intended to buy for myself, I was really quite happy with my 03 Dodge Stratus SXT Coupe. I'm a big guy, 6'6'. This Yaris was easier to get in and out of than my Dodge. Plenty of headroom and legroom. It was nice to drive and not have my head scraping the roof or having to duck to see traffic lights. I was amazed at the zip factor of this little engine. I get really odd looks when people see this big guy get out of such a small vehicle. I now have over 700 miles on my Yaris and am getting about 32 mpg combined driving. I will probably get a little better mileage when not running the a/c or driving with a heavy foot. My insurance rates dropped and am not buying nearly as much gas as before. This car is loads of fun!
