    2007 Toyota Yaris - S (M5) Sedan

    Pros: gas mileage

    Cons: warranty

Advice: Have the dealer place a screen in the grill to protect the a/c condensder

The a/c condenser is located in an area in front of the grill where it can easily damaged by foreign objects. Mine was damaged by a small rock kicked up by another vehicle's tire. A hole caused by the rock depressurized the system and caused the a/c to fail. The vehicle is still under warranty, but Toyota dealer that I took it to charged $80.00 to look at it because it was damaged by an outside object, and not covered by warranty. The bill to repair it was $1200.00. Great gas mileage.

Pros: The the Center guages and cup holders

    Cons: No change holder

Advice: If you are tired of wasting money on gas by a Yaris + its Toyota

Love it! After paying $71.00 to fill by Exporer I had a enough! I started looking for a car that got better that 18 mgp. I tried lots but loved the Yaris. Its not a Lexus or a Camery but its great on gas and rides nice and its a lot of car for what you pay. im 5-11 and fit just fine in it. $24.00 to fill it this week 432 miles

    2007 Toyota Yaris - (M5) Hatchback

    Pros: gas mileage

    Cons: soft suspension

Advice: spend the least amount of money possibile on depreciating assets

My test drive is now approaching a year and approximately 6000 miles. I've had no problems. My mileage is 38-39 highway and 35 in town (not a packed in city). The acceleration has been adequate with the manual transmission even with the A/C going. I generally drive with the rear seat folded down and have plenty of room to haul my gear. The length of the vehicle effectively added extra space in my garage, provides an incredibly short turning radius, and makes parking anywhere a snap. There is substantial body roll with spirited turns.

    2007 Toyota Yaris - (M5) Hatchback

Pros: cupholders, mp3 jack, reclining back seats, turning radius

Cons: the plastic in the car gets dirty easily, but wipes clean just as easily

Advice: buy it! i love this car!!!

I bought my 2007 Meteorite Metallic Yaris Liftback back in March. I test drove the car a few times before I actually bought it. I got the best available package. There wasn't the option of side airbags or abs available in my state at the time I purchased mine. So far I've gotten 38-40 miles a gallon. I've also recieved a lot of compliments on my little baby car. The handling is very good and I find myself being able to fit in tiny spaces. It hits 80 mph with no problems. And it's huge ont he inside. Some people complain about how small it is, I have a friend who is 6' and weighs over 215 pounds and he was fine in the back seat. I recomend the reclining back seats, my friends think they are the coolest and numerous times have said the car is so comfortable and they have a lot of space. Don't take the Yaris' outward appearance as any indication of what the car can do. It's a little package, but a big value.

    2007 Toyota Yaris - (M5) Hatchback

    Pros: Fuel economy

Cons: No ABS (very hard to get on the base hatchback)

Advice: If enomy is your primary consideration, this car works. Makes more economic sense than a hybrid (REAL mpg vs Cost to Own).

My overall rating reflects how the car performs for the reasons I bought it. I purchased it as a commuting vehicle and for that, it's truly excellent. I have the automatic with the power package. The first tank of gas, I got 38.2 MPG and a full 39 MPG with the second. Its not a luxury vehicle so in terms of room and comfort, I had realistic expectations. Its actually quite a bit more roomy and comfortable than I anticipated. Handles highway speeds more than adequately. Zippy enough to merge on CA freeways. Overall, very pleased with my purchase so far. It excels at what I bought it for.

    2007 Toyota Yaris - (M5) Hatchback

Pros: Gas Mileage and Body Style

    Cons: Center Console

Advice: This is your vehicle for the price and gas mileage.

Solid performer for the right price. Excellent gas mileage, sporty, great to parallel park. We purchased as a commuter for my 60 mile roundtrip drive. No problem getting up to 80 easily on the freeway. Fits my family of 5 until the kids are teenagers. Don't expect a lot of comfort and amenities at this price range.
