a fantastic truck. At times when I look at pictures of all the places this truck took me I wish she was still around. Anyone who has the opportunity should drive if not own a Toyota truck. So many off road treks fell to our outings!

best vehicle i've owned

Pros: comfort

Cons: no complaints

this is a great truck. It is much more comfortable than my 2008 mustang. I'm comparing a truck to a car. build quality is also much better in the truck. This is a keeper.

2001 Toyota Tacoma

WOW how far they can fall where Quality is concern

Pros: Rattle & squeak free.

Cons: RUST RUST RUST

The first 4 years were trouble free, another happy Toyota owner. Then it started! Rust started to take over on the underside of my vehicle and every 15 months I was in the shop getting rusted rear brakes replaced. Then 7 years into my ownership experience my frame started to flake off big chunks of rust. Toyota has serious problems in the quality area as I was quick to learn in early 2009. 1995 - 2000 Tocomas being bought back due to rusted frames, 2001 - 2004 Tacomas being both bought back (early on) and new frames being installed in the others, 2001 - 2004 Tundras with same issue of rusted frame, not to mention all the other recalls recently.

Nice Truck

Pros: Comfort/tow package

Cons: Front seats are manual and could be mounted a bit lower.

Had the truck for 10 months with no problems. With exteded cab it has the comfort of a car with ample room for 4 passengers and driver. I tow 2,000 lbTrailer/1000 lb boat with no problem. Front seats are manual and could be mounted a bit lower.
